Market Street between Martin Luther King Blvd and 10th Street will be closed Friday, December 17th from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM for the Winter Break Spectacular. Detours will be posted.

Chattanooga Area Food Bank Distribution
Curtain Pole Road will be temporarily converted to one-way direction (southbound) on Saturday, December 18th from 6:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Directional signs will be posted to assist with traffic flow.
W 55th Street between St Elmo Avenue and Virginia Avenue will be closed on Saturday, December 18th between from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM to host the Corner Market on 55th Street. Detours will be posted.
Glass Street between N Chamberlain Ave and Daisy Street will be closed on Saturday, December 18th between from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM for the Bethlehem on Glass Street event. Detours will be posted.

The following road will be closed beginning Wednesday, December 1st at 8:00 AM for the vendor set-up:
- Reggie White Blvd between the Chattanooga Skate Park north entrance and W 20th Street
The following roads will be closed on Thursday, December 2nd from 7:00 AM until Saturday, December 5th at 11:59 PM:
- Reggie White Blvd between the Chattanooga Skate Park north entrance and W 20th Street
- Chestnut Street between W 17th Street and W 19th Street
- W 19th Street between Reggie White Blvd and Chestnut Street
- Northbound, right lane of W 20th Streetbetween Chestnut Street and Reggie White Blvd for bus loading/unloading.
Street parking will be prohibited on Chestnut Street within the closure on the dates/times listed above. Vehicles left within the closure will be towed at the owner's expense.
Upcoming Special Event Road Closures
The following roads will be closed from Wednesday, November 3rd at 10:00 AM until Sunday, November 7th at 10:00 PM for the annual Head Of The Hooch Regatta:
- Riverfront Parkway between Molly Lane (eastern access) and E Aquarium Way
- The ramp from Veterans Bridge to Riverfront Parkway westbound
- Power Ally from W Aquarium Way to Riverfront Parkway
- Chestnut Street from W Aquarium Way to Riverfront Parkway
- Trucks over 2 axles will be prohibited on Riverfront Parkway east of MLK Blvd. Only local deliveries within the restricted area or trucks associated with the Regatta will be allowed through.
Street Parking on southbound Chestnut Street between W Aquarium Way and W 3rd Street will be restricted from Wednesday, November 3rd at 6:00 PM until Sunday, November 7th at 9:00 PM.
Detours will be posted for Riverfront Parkway through traffic and all trucks via MLK Blvd and Houston Street.

The following roads will be closed on Wednesday, November 3rd from 3:30 PM until 11:45 PM:
- Reggie White Blvd between the Chattanooga Skate Park north entrance and W 20th Street
- Chestnut Street between W 17th Street and W 19th Street
- W 19th Street between Reggie White Blvd and Chestnut Street
Street parking will be prohibited on Chestnut Street within the closure on the dates/times listed above. Vehicles left within the closure will be towed at the owner's expense.

Missionary Ridge Neighborhood Association Cookout
Sheridan Road between S Crest Road and S Seminole Drive will be closed on Saturday, October 23rd from 4:30 PM until 8 PM for the MRNA Cookout/Block Party.
International Market and More - Reggie White Blvd
E 7th Street will be closed between Cherry Street and Market Street on Sunday, October 24th from 9 AM until 6 PM for the International Market and More presented by Art 120.
Union Ave between S Willow Street and S Orchard Knob Street will be closed on Sunday, October 24th from 10 AM until 4 PM for the All Nations Sunday Event. S Beech Ave will not have access across Union Avenue during this time.
No Lane Closures for Labor Day Holiday
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways for the Labor Day holiday travel period. Construction crews will stop all lane closure activity at noon on Friday, September 3rd, until 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7th. This will provide maximum roadway capacity for motorists traveling during the busy Labor Day holiday.
“The Labor Day holiday is typically a busy travel time,” said TDOT Commissioner Clay Bright. “We want to ensure that the thousands of travelers using Tennessee’s roadways during this period arrive at their destinations quickly and safely without being impeded by road construction delays.”
While lane closure activity will be stopped, workers will still be on-site in many construction zones, and drivers are urged to obey posted speed limits. Drivers convicted of speeding in work zones where workers are present face a fine of $250 to $500, plus court fees and possible increased insurance premiums.

Mayor Tim Kelly will host a press conference at 9:30 AMin front of City Hall. E 11th Street will be closed from 9 AM until 10:15 AM between Lindsay Street and Newby Street. Please use E 10th Street as an alternative route.
Patten Square Ribbon Cutting - Patten Parkway
Patten Parkway will be closed from 9 AM until 11:30 PMfor the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the completion of Patten Square. The ceremony will take place next to the new public art installation 'Radiance' at 10:30 AM. Patten Parkway will remain closed to through traffic as preparations are made for a celebratory block party which begins after Nightfall.
Nightfall - Cherry Street / Martin Luther King Blvd / Market Street
Cherry Street will be closed at E MLK Blvd on Friday from 3 PM until 12 Midnight for Nightfall setup. Market Street will be closed from East 8th Street to East 10th Street, and ML King Blvd will be closed from Broad Street to Georgia Avenue from 5:30 PM until 12midnight. These closures will be in effect each Friday night through September 10, 2021.
